Experiential Activation – “The Oops Pop-Up”
Concept:
A public vending machine experience where visitors interact with “chance vs. control” decisions in real time.
Execution:
1. The "Oops Vending Machine" Installation
A real vending machine offering two buttons:
"Control"—dispensing free condoms and info about birth control.
"Chance"—dispensing a fortune cookie with a fake “Oops!” message inside.
2. Live Screen Display – “Undo the Oops”
A digital billboard tracks every person who chooses "Control," displaying the real-time number of “oops prevented.”
As more people participate, the tagline "Smart choices make better surprises" appears.
3. Social Media Challenge – “Oops You CAN Prevent”
Users post their worst surprise stories (accidental haircuts, bad purchases, embarrassing texts).
Planned Parenthood responds with "There's one surprise you CAN prevent," encouraging birth control planning.
